These are Rentista, for retirees who do not have a pension but gain income in the form of investments with an income of at least $1000 per month; Inversionistas, for those who would like to start a business in Costa Rica, the investment should be worth $200,000; and the Pensionados, for retirees receiving a lifelong pension, and must earn $600 per month.
